What we look for
Rain falls, filters down through a few hundred feet of volcanic rock, and collects in the aquifer. That part is genuinely excellent. The questions all come later — what the water picks up from an old service line, from plantation-era ground, from the copper inside your own walls.
The county tests its own system. It does not test your tap, and everything between the two is yours. And since the Red Hill fuel releases, plenty of families here have simply stopped taking any of it on trust. Fair enough. So let's measure it.

The disinfectant that keeps water safe across miles of main. It does its job, then arrives in your glass — that's the pool smell, and the flat taste in coffee and rice.

How acidic or basic your water is — it matters most when it runs low, because acidic water is hungry water: it pulls copper out of your pipes, leaves blue-green staining in sinks, and puts a metallic edge on the taste.

Rarely in the source, often in the plumbing. Older homes and anything joined with pre-1986 solder are worth checking, and acidic water accelerates the whole process.

Scale and silt off the mains. It clogs aerators, chews through valves, and makes everything downstream work harder.

Legacy farm chemicals
A century of plantation agriculture left soil fumigants in the ground in parts of the islands. Affected county wells are treated with carbon before delivery — a lot of households still want a second barrier at home.
Equipment
We don't sell one box to everybody. What gets specified depends on your numbers, your plumbing, your flow rate and the size of the household — a 1960s house in Mānoa and a new condo in Kakaʻako need almost nothing in common.

Installed where the county line enters the house, so every tap, shower and appliance runs on filtered water. Carbon for chlorine taste and odor, sediment for grit off the mains, and a longer life for the water heater and fixtures.
Point of use
A dedicated tap at the kitchen sink for drinking and cooking, fed through a membrane that filters at the molecular level. This is the one for the household that has been hauling cases of bottled water home from Costco for years.

Restaurants, cafes, salons, hotels, vacation rentals, offices, coffee operations. Here bad water shows up as an equipment bill — scaled boilers, dead ice machines, espresso gear on its third descale — and the case gets made in maintenance costs, not taste.
We don't publish prices, and here's why. Sizing a system depends on your source, your pH, your flow rate and how many people live in the house. A price quoted before the test would be a guess dressed up as a number. Your test comes with a written quote for exactly what your water needs — and nothing it doesn't.

We handle the installation anywhere on Oʻahu, usually within the same week — the plumbing work performed by licensed plumbing professionals. You’re not left to find a plumber yourself.

Every free water test we book is an appointment that needs somebody to run it. We're looking for people who can sit at a kitchen table, walk a family through their own results, and ask for the sale. Territory is open across Oʻahu.
We don't publish earnings figures, and we won't show you a photo of somebody else's commission check. Anybody who leads a recruiting pitch with a number is selling you the pitch, not the job. What you make here comes down to how many tests you run, how well you run them, and how many close — and none of that can be promised to you in advance. What we will tell you, before you commit to anything, is the commission rate. Ask on the call.

Yes. No charge, no deposit, no obligation to buy anything. We do it because most people have never seen their own numbers, and once they have, the conversation gets a lot more honest in both directions.
Not yet, and we'd rather say so than sell you something half-right. We're set up for homes on county water at the moment — catchment needs different equipment, including disinfection, and we're not running those builds yet. Call or text anyway and we'll put you on the list, then let you know the moment that changes.
Not yet. We're Oʻahu only for now, from Hawaiʻi Kai to Waiʻanae, and we'd rather say so plainly than take a booking we can't keep. Call anyway if you're on another island — we'll tell you honestly when that changes.
Then it tests fine, we tell you so, we leave you the report, and we go. That happens. We'd rather be the company that says it than the one that sells a system to a house that didn't need one.
No. This is a 1099 independent contractor position. You control your own hours and methods, you cover your own expenses, and you're responsible for your own taxes. If you want a W-2 with a base salary, this isn't the right role, and we'd rather say so now than in week three.
No. We'd rather have somebody coachable than somebody with habits to unlearn. What you do need is comfort in a stranger's home, the ability to hear no without taking it personally, and the discipline to keep your own calendar full.
